The World Health Organization (WHO) has banned the annual April Fool’s Day joke for 2020 over COVID-19 pandemic. 

Speaking over the issues on Tuesday, in Geneva, Switzerland, WHO’s spokeswoman Margaret Harris, said this is to prevent some COVID-19 Idiots from causing unnecessary panic on Wednesday, April 1st.

Harris said April Fool’s Day jokers should rather channel their energy in spreading positive information on how to combat the coronavirus pandemic. 

She said that this has been the toughest year for the organization in decades and that all hand must be on deck to defeat Coronavirus that has posed global medical emergency. 

Harris concluded by saying that this particular post is part of the April Fool’s Day joke. 

Please use this year’s April Fool joke wisely. Don’t spread fake news about coronavirus. Stay strong. Stay safe. Stay at home, if you’re told to do so.
